Below are some of the qualities that we seek in a collaborator:

• Interest in understanding how landscape condition and change act as a proxy for power, policy, and agency.

• Willingness to explore problems and perspectives without disciplinary baggage.

• Ability to think across spatial and temporal scales.

• Capacity to merge different ways of knowing.

• Interest in unpacking geographically explicit relationships between social, environmental, and climatic systems.

• Experience with large volume satellite image processing using Google Earth Engine and Python/Jupyter.

• Experience managing or analyzing conflict event or humanitarian geospatial datasets using Python or R.
