Are you interested in joining the Conflict Ecology lab as a graduate student or postdoctoral scholar?

Below are some of the qualities that we seek:

  • Interest in understanding how landscape condition and change act as a proxy for power, policy, and agency.

  • Highly collaborative spirit, willingness to explore problems and perspectives without disciplinary baggage, and capacity to merge different ways of knowing.

  • Interest in unpacking geographically explicit relationships between social, environmental, and climatic systems, and ability to think across spatial and temporal scales..

  • Experience with large volume satellite image processing using Google Earth Engine and Python/Jupyter, and experience managing or analyzing conflict event or humanitarian geospatial datasets using Python or R.
